Amber Baker
Harvest Kids Director
I was born and raised in De Berry, Texas by my wonderful parents who made God the center of our household. My family joined New Hebron Baptist Church in 1992. While attending college I visited several other churches, but New Hebron was always home. I accepted Christ as a child and have continued to grow in the Lord throughout my life. I have a wonderful husband, Jarad Baker and together we have three precious children: Eli, Avery, and Ethan. Since having children, I have felt God leading me more into the role of teaching children.
In 2017 I became a children’s Sunday School teacher for ages 4-7. I want my children to grow up to love the Lord and stand firm in their faith. I believe teaching them the gospel at an early age makes it stick with them throughout their lives. As much as I want that for my children, I also want it for the children in our community. The past few years I tossed around the idea of New Hebron having a Mother’s Day out program. In 2019 God made that vision possible. I am now the director of our Mother’s Day Out program, “Harvest Kids,” here at New Hebron. I am so excited to see God work in this ministry.
